Quranic Verses
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah . If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
(Surah Al-Imran, 110)
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers.
(Surah Al-Munaafiqoon, 63:9)
Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.
(Surah Al-Taghaabun,64.15)
And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels.In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith."
(Surah Al-Baqara, 248)
Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things:
(Surah Al-Imran, 121)
Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom.
(Surah An-NisaÂ’, 54)
But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind
(Surah Al-A‘raf, 83)
And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!"
(Surah Hud, 45)
So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door

Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated that while she was on a journey with the Messenger of Allah, she had a race with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and won. Later, after she had gained some weight, she again had a race with him, and he won. He said, "This is for that."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When a Muslim spends something on his family, intending to receive Allah's reward, it is regarded as charity for him.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) once told a young Companion who married an older, previously-married woman, "Why haven't you married a virgin who would have played with you, and you would have played with her?
